Terms of Service - lexandroll.pl

Version 2.0 · effective from 28 October 2026 · This is a translation; the Polish version (Regulamin) prevails.

§ 1. General provisions

  1. These terms set out the rules for using the website at lexandroll.pl (the "Website") and the types and conditions of services provided electronically through it, in accordance with Article 8(1) of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on Providing Services by Electronic Means ("UŚUDE").
  2. The service provider is Lex&Roll Kancelaria Radcy Prawnego Marek Kozica, Warsaw (second location: Wrocław), tax ID (NIP) 899-271-64-95, an attorney-at-law (radca prawny) registered under OIRP WŁ/LG/510, e-mail: hello@lexandroll.pl (the "Firm").
  3. These terms are available free of charge at lexandroll.pl/en/regulamin in a form that allows them to be downloaded, stored and printed.

§ 2. Services provided electronically

Through the Website the Firm provides the following services free of charge:

  1. Access to Website content - information pages, articles, the Regulatory Radar and information tools ("AI Act Check", "Legal Stack Configurator", "Exposure Calculator"). The tools run only in the user's browser: inputs and results are not sent to the Firm or stored anywhere.
  2. Contact form - lets you send an inquiry to the Firm; the Firm replies to the e-mail address provided.
  3. Providing the guide ("C-Level Guide: the AI Act and GDPR" and other materials marked as free) - at the user's request, by sending an e-mail with a link to the PDF file to the address provided.
  4. Newsletter - e-mails about changes in the law, resources, training and the Firm's services, sent to the address provided no more than twice a month, only after consent is given and confirmed via a link sent to that address.

§ 3. Conclusion and termination of service agreements

  1. The agreement for the service in § 2(1) is concluded when the user opens any page of the Website and terminates when they stop browsing it.
  2. The agreement for the service in § 2(2) or (3) is concluded when the form is submitted and terminates when the reply or the e-mail with the guide is sent.
  3. The agreement for the service in § 2(4) is concluded when the subscription is confirmed via the link sent to the e-mail address provided, and is concluded for an indefinite period. The user may terminate it at any time, free of charge and without giving reasons - via the "unsubscribe" link in the footer of every message, the unsubscribe function of their e-mail client or by writing to hello@lexandroll.pl. Termination takes effect immediately. The Firm may discontinue the newsletter by notifying subscribers at least 14 days in advance.
  4. To use the services in § 2(2)-(4) you must provide a valid e-mail address and, for the contact form, your name. Providing data is voluntary but necessary to provide the service. Using the Website requires no registration or account.
  5. Use of the service in § 2(3) is not conditional on subscribing to the newsletter. Newsletter consent is separate, voluntary and unticked by default.
  6. Submitting an inquiry through the form or sending a message to the Firm is not an instruction to provide legal services and does not create a lawyer-client relationship; working together requires a separate agreement.

§ 4. Technical requirements and prohibitions

  1. To use the Website you need a device with internet access and an up-to-date browser supporting HTML5, CSS and JavaScript; for the services in § 2(2)-(4), also an active e-mail account. The Website requires no software installation and sets no cookies (Privacy Policy, section 7).
  2. Forms are protected by the Cloudflare Turnstile spam check, which starts when you begin filling in the form. A form can be submitted only after a positive check.
  3. It is prohibited to submit unlawful content through the forms (Article 8(3)(2)(b) UŚUDE), in particular content infringing third-party rights, malicious code or spam, to provide someone else's e-mail address without their authorisation, and to interact with the Website in an automated or unauthorised manner - including attempts to circumvent security measures or disrupt its operation.
  4. Using services provided electronically involves typical network risks (e.g. interception, malware, messages impersonating the sender). The Firm serves the Website only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS) and sends e-mails only from the lexandroll.pl domain. Do not send confidential information, special categories of data or case documents through the form or ordinary e-mail - the Firm agrees a secure channel individually once in touch.

§ 5. Nature of content and no legal advice

  1. Content published on the Website, the guides and the newsletter are for information and educational purposes. They do not constitute legal advice and do not replace an analysis of a specific situation; the Firm is not liable for decisions taken solely on their basis.
  2. Results of the configurator and calculator are indicative and do not constitute an offer within the meaning of Article 66 of the Polish Civil Code.
  3. Content reflects the law as of the date stated in the material or as of its publication or last update. The Firm does not undertake to keep archived materials up to date.

§ 6. Complaints

  1. Complaints about the Website or services may be sent to hello@lexandroll.pl, describing the problem and giving an address for the reply.
  2. The Firm handles a complaint within 14 days of receipt and replies to the e-mail address from which it was sent.

§ 7. Personal data

The rules for processing users' personal data, including the information required by Article 13 GDPR, are set out in the Privacy Policy available at lexandroll.pl/en/privacy-policy.

§ 8. Intellectual property and licence for free materials

  1. The content of the Website, the guides and the newsletter (texts, graphics, tool code and the selection and arrangement of content) is protected by copyright and belongs to the Firm.
  2. Materials marked as free, including the guide in § 2(3), may be read, saved, printed and shared in unchanged form within the user's organisation (in particular with board members and employees) free of charge, provided the author and source are acknowledged.
  3. Use within the limits of permitted use, including quotation (Article 29 of the Polish Copyright Act of 4 February 1994), is allowed. Public distribution, modification or commercial use - including resale or presenting the materials as one's own training content - requires the Firm's prior consent.

§ 9. Final provisions

  1. The Firm may amend these terms, in particular if the scope of services or the law changes. Amended terms apply from their publication on the Website. Newsletter subscribers are notified by e-mail of changes concerning that service at least 14 days before they take effect; a subscriber who does not accept the change may unsubscribe during that time.
  2. Matters not regulated here are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code and UŚUDE. These terms do not limit consumer rights under mandatory provisions of law.
